they are releasing more than 9 hours of transcripts today. Why now, after four years? During Moussaoui's trial?

Why release the tapes but not the second half of the 9-11 investigation? Why all the 9-11 critical analysis now? Were we all so awestruck 9-12-01 that we missed something? What the hell?
Why hasn't the court and the jurors realized that Moussaui's testimony change allows him execution? Don't they know it will lead him into the arms of 21 virgins?
